The plan and the goal of the the Berne Christkindlmarkt is to be open rain or shine during our Christkindlmarkt normal hours and days or operation.  However, we understand that some weather occurrences (out of our control) it would be safer for our guest, vendors and staff to remain indoors.  

The Berne Christkindlmarkt policy to close will be based on the following types of weather:
-sustained wind speeds and/or gust of 40+ mph
-sustained ambient temperatures of 20 degrees or lower
-any weather pattern that has caused the county or state to declar a "State of Emergency" that prohibits non-emergency travel.

There may be other conditions-weather or otherwise-that may cause the Berne Christkindlmarkt to close for the safety of everyone.  

We will provide up-to-date information as best as we can when it comes to the weather or any closures.  Please check out social media and this website home page for updates and information.
